  1. Hey there, i am adding a electric Truck into Heat Presets. I have filled in the cell "Electric Vehicle Power" and defined efficiency and Latent Heat Factor of the electric motor in the Setting. Is it nessesary to filled in the "Point Sensible" and "Point Latent"? or the software will calculate the Sensible Heat and Latent Heat from the setting? Thanks. Xiao
  2. Hey experts, i needed to import a mine model with .dwg format which was generated by solidworks. Importing was successfully but i could not edit anything in the model (guess Model is not activated) any of you have an idea or expierence with importing solidworks models? best regards, Xiao
  3. Hey Martin, as you see in the picture, Leakage Porosity is grey and I can not edit it.
  4. Hey there, how can i edit the Duct Parameters like Leakage Porosity or Offset Vertical after setting up a duct? by clicking Edit i could only change basically the size and Friction Factor. thanks. Xiao
  5. Hi! i am in the phase of defining the enviroment Setting using existing measurments and came across of this question: it seems that Ventsim defined a relation between the Surface Datum Pressure Barometric and the Surface Datum Elevation above Sea Level? We have measured the Barometric Pressure of 100,58 kPa at a hight of +133,8 Meter. But every time when i change the Pressure to 100,58 kPa the elevation will be ajusted to 62,2 m, which is not correct. (with messured Dry Bulb and Wet Bulb temperature filled in) How can i fix this Problem? Thanks in advance. Xiao Yang
  6. Hey Martin, the surface data and rock property data are quite well defined under "Settings". The 20 year old small sized mine is now "on hold" so there is rarely some traffic going on. The current ventilation direction comes from the first 5 (or more ) years of ventilation with the help of the main fans and now the fans are only needed in summer. But of course the model could't know the history.
  7. Hi, the mine which i have modeled works mainly with natural ventilation throughout autumn to spring, which means no main ventilators running during that time. It has also the same level of downcast and upcast shaft. when I ran the simulation for the first time, Ventsim seemed to simulate the airflow oppositly. To avoild this, I added a fixed air temperatur to the upcast shaft. Is there a better way to run the simulation correctly?
  8. No, what I am searching for is the tool to convert the whole net to a schematic overview like in the picture below (partly shown, similar to a drawing in AutoCAD😞
  9. Hi! after running an air simulation I need to plot the air Quantity result along with the airways for documentation (similar to a drawing). Is it possible? Xiao
  10. Hi Martin, thanks for your advice. I will contact our IT to install the new version. will let you know if it works. br, Xiao
  11. Hi Martin, are the "up" and "down" showing in the gradient box according to the airflow directions? my mine model has a opposite airflow direction. By changing the "up" to "down" to a shaft, the shaft just disappeared. br, Xiao
