  1. Thank you Daniel, I have included the heat active and newfix columns and it appears to have worked. Clearly haven't paid as much attention as I should have... 😁 Regards, Fred
  2. Did I perhaps forget to include some columns in the input file? I noticed that the values found in the columns "newfix db" and "newfix wb" are the same as "fix db" and "fix wb", except for blanks (-99999 for "newfix..." and 0 for "fix...")
  3. Hi @Craig Christensen, I believe I may have found another bug. Not sure whether it is only in my VS5.4 version or also in VS6. I had the script file set up so that for every script number, there would be a different value for "fix wb" and "fix db" for a particular airway. Example INPUT: Script 1: fix wb = 20, fix db = 25 Script 2: fix wb = 19, fix db = 26 Script 3: fix wb = 18.5, fix db = 25.5 ... I believe that I have confirmed that the fields were correct before I made the desired changes to the input file. The scripts in the input file are not separated by empty rows, as this forces the file execution to stop. I executed the input file with the following settings ("Selected Output" returns an error) The input file was executed ran without errors. However, the output file showed that only the "fix wb" and "fix db" values of the first script number were used, for every single script. Example OUTPUT: Script 1: fix wb = 20, fix db = 25 Script 2: fix wb = 20, fix db = 25 Script 3: fix wb = 20, fix db = 25 ... Any hints, tips or tricks? Regards, Fred
  4. Thank you Craig for looking into this, I've deleted the last rows from the script as shown (and a couple of columns I'm not changing). Works like a charm! Cheers, Fred
  5. Hello, I'm trying to set up an extensive static script. For the script I'm only changing the fixed WB/DB of a couple of airways. However, I keep getting an error message "Index was outside the bounds of the array". Thinking that the extensive nature of the script is at fault, I cut it down significantly (total 172 airways). Still the same issue. I created test script files to see which values change when manually adjusting the fixed values, but everything appeared to be in order. Finally I tried to run a freshly created script without making any changes at all - I still get the error message, which seems a bit odd to me. What have I overlooked, and how can I fix it? Note that I'm running VS Design Premium 5.4.8.7 64bit. Cheers! Fred
  6. Thanks Craig! I reset everything, now it works again. Best regards, Fred
  7. Hello! How can I reset my VentLog installation? Reason I ask: I've been playing around with VentLog to see what I can do with it. In the very beginning I created a test .vlg file. It's been a while and I managed to irretrievably delete this .vlg file. VentLog is now permanently stuck in an offline mode. I cannot access the Connection manager, because it is grayed out (possibly because it's in offline mode) and keeps on asking for a file that does not exist - without providing the possibility to create a "new" .vlg file or project. Uninstalling and re-installing did not do the trick, same issue. The license however is active, we have a full license through Ventsim Design Premium. What can I do about this? Best regards, Fred
  8. Hello! I've exported a model from Ventsim to .dxf using the appropriate function. My question is, is there any way that the function can consider the airway solid color for the centerlines as well? As attributes are not exported, color is the only way to identify what the airline is supposed to represent. From what I can see, color is only applied to solids, not centerlines. See example below. I'm asking because exporting the solids results in large files compared to only centerlines. Best regards, Fred
  9. I suppose I could add a Message Box and then add the text that I want, but can I then save this Message Box template and apply it elsewhere?
  10. Hello, A suggestion of sorts. Is it possible to add the text of the variables displayed in the Data Boxes before the values? For example, if I select the variables "Gas: NO" and "Gas: CO", both could display as "0%" without any identifying information. This in my opinion makes it a bit difficult to immediately identify which value belongs to which gas, unless I go in and check. if the order of display hasn't been switched around or if the correct Data Box setup is used (Multiple Data Box setups could be present in any model), or if e.g. "Gas: NO" hasn't been erroneously replaced with "Gas: H2" by someone (also in "%"). If there could be a tickbox where you turn on/off the variable names in the Data Boxes, for example "NO" form "Gas: NO" or "CO" from "Gas: CO", that would in my opinion add more clarity. Similar for any temperature (°C) or pressure (Pa) related variables. To make the point, here is an example: Best regards, Fred
  11. Hi Martin, I have used that tool, and it is showing me some airways. However, Model A had several airways marked as "Exclude", Model B has some of those airways included again. Some if not all of those previously excluded, now included airways seem to not be highlighted as changed? Fred
  12. Hello again, Is there a way to easily do a side-by-side comparison of different model files to check changes in airways (Compare Files) and also additions/removals? Best regards, Frédéric
  13. Hi, Layers are displayed in the order of creation ("custom" sorting). If they are then sorted alphabetically by clicking on the name (Primary or Secondary Layer Name), intentionally or accidentally, you lose that "custom" sorting. Other than changing the name of the layers to then "force-sort", there is no way to change the order of the layers (moving up and down, or dragging & dropping, or adding an additional hierarchy column for numbering...). Is there a way to add this feature? Reference layers are sorted alphabetically by default. But when the list blows up, it could add difficulty in navigation - one may want to sort or group reference layers thematically. Due to the automatic alphabetic sorting, renaming the layers is the only way for now. Could there be a feature that allows such grouping of reference files, for example by adding sub-layers/different parent layers in the reference files tab? Best regards, Frédéric
