I am trying to simulate the following but am getting weird results. Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?? PumpSIM model attached.
- We have an INGERSOLL RAND 'CHAMPION FM18' SCREW COMPRESSOR (data sheet attached) and passive Dryer pushing air into a 4,000 L receiver.
- We want to maintain a minimum 3 bar pressure at a pipeline distance of 1.6 km (1,600 m) at a static head of 260 m (i.e. 860 m RL down to 600 m RL).
- Required flow rate is 150 m3/hr.
- Need to determine pipe run size that can achieve this.
