Hi I have just copy and pasted some airways from one file into another. They represent future shafts that I have excluded from simulation - just want to see where they are going to go. Simulation failed due to invalid presets (shock) airway - due to being set differently in the other file I assume. I can fix this by changing all the presets to those in the target file but I have had this issue before with various other parameters. Just a pain (or maybe me being lazy) Any chance you could change the checking routines (airflow, gas and heat etc) to ignore excluded airways completely i.e. only raise errors if an airway is being used in the simulation. Hi Martin Not sure if there is a setting for this already - cannot find it? Problem - having selected a few airways to move about a model and being zoomed in, you have to zoom out and in again to get them to a location that is off the current screen. Maybe my fat fingers but I often loose the selection and have to grab them again. Any chance you could have the screen view move over the model when your selected group or mouse hits the screen border - like excel does if you move the selected cells off the current screen? Would also be handy to be able to nudge the screen view around using keyboard up,down, left, right buttons Thanks

Hi I often group airways in coal mines for rapid duplication. However, when you highlight a group then duplicate, the new airways are added to the previous group which is a pain to then split and copy again. Any chance you can change it so when you duplicate a group ventsim creates the duplicate as a new group? Thanks

Hi I want to have reference graphics turning on and off with primary layers. When I edit the reference graphic and select Primary Layer - this works fine. However, the setting is not saved so when you open the file again from start, the previous primary layer settings have gone. I am not sure if the other reference graphic settings also are not saved. Thanks

Hi Martin When the green memory bar got to 100% I found that some imported reference graphics were missing. I am using Ventsim to quickly put gas and depth contours on a coal mine plan - not really a Ventsim model but a hell of a lot faster than TrueView I fixed this by creating two separate models and splitting the reference graphics between them - then when I imported the files with missing parts it worked. If I understand you correctly, the green memory bar does not mean anything now, so should not be a problem when it says 100% ? Thanks

Hi - may be me but I cannot find the setting for increasing memory size when you import too many reference graphics. The manual talks about it but it is not in the settings section (section 12.5) - I think that is where it used to be. Thanks

Hi Bruno I prefer to do everything in excel so the fastest method is to give your key airway points a name starting with either z or a e.g. z-No.1 Shaft for No.1 Shaft. Then set up the Ventsim spreadsheet with the columns you want. When you want to compare, open the Venstim spreadsheet then click on sort ascending or descending, select all your main points which will be collated by a or z, copy and paste into excel where you then have all the excel functions for analysis e.g. vlookup to cross match with your field data. Hope this helps

Hi - any chance that you could add a drop down list for undo and redo buttons (as in Excel or Word) so that I can track what I am doing - I often undo too many times and then cannot check what I have actually done. Thanks
