Customer
I don't understand Dynamic Contaminant Behavior… What is the procedure behind the simulation. What is the Theory of the simulation? Please, give me explanation about following parameters: Steady State Fixed Rate Linear Decay Logarithmic Decay
Craig Stewart
The theory of dust behaviour is covered in McPhersons excellent reference, available from the SRK website. https://www.srk.com.au/sites/default/files/file/English_Version-Subsurface_Ventilation_Engineering_Textbook-SRKs_Mine_Ventilation_Services.pdf Dynamic contaminant behaviour options are for the Dynamic Simulation functions in Ventsim. Dynamic simulation is a time based simulation and is available in the Advanced and Premium versions. The behaviour of a contaminant introduced into the model during a dynamic simulation can be changed with the behaviour options. Steady State will release a continuous, unchanging concentration during dynamic simulation. The addition of contaminant with Fixed rate, Linear Decay and Logarithmic Decay are limited by the time specified in the dialog boxes below, with the concentration changing over that time to zero (0) for the decay options. Dynamic behaviour is applied to both contaminant and dust dynamic simulations
