Kingsley Hortin
Hi There, I seem to be unable to inherit layers (Air Type, Primary and Secondary) from one model to another. I am able to inherit all other attributes, just not the layers. I have the latest Ventsim Design (version 5.0.7.4). I also have the older Ventsim 4.8 and that seems to work fine with regards to layer inheriting. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks! John Armstrong
Hi Kingsley You're not doing anything wrong, unfortunately that is a bug that has found it's way into Ventsim 5, its been fixed and we will be releasing another version of 5 soon, with a few bug fixes... Thanks for letting us know, sorry for inconvenience... Regards

John Armstrong
Hi Kingsley, This should now be fixed in the latest release 5.0.7.6 thanks
Kingsley Hortin
Hi John, The problem of inheriting layers is now fixed (thanks!!!) with only one very minor issue. When you inherit the layers, the Display Manager does not immediately update. If you note the attachment below, you will see that the Presets dialog box shows the inherited layers for the primary layer, but the Display Manager only shows "Defaults". Once you choose "OK" in the Presets box (or you close and reopen the network), the Display Manager displays correctly. Otherwise, that issue seems to be resolved.
