The pump we use is a piston pump, so it will keep pushing paste at increased pressure if needed. The problem is I keep getting pressure below 0 for the first horizontal part just before going underground. I'd like some information about how to setup my pump. Thanks for your time! What did you use to simulate the postive displacement pump? Did you have enough information to add a curve or did you use a fixed flow? If you are doing a paste fill simulation, the parameters of the paste such as yield stress, density and viscosity are critical. Did you have easy access to those?
