Fred_K Posted October 3, 2022 Report Share Posted October 3, 2022 Hello! Background: Working on a project with a comma separator - separator mandated by system settings, no doubt. Copied & pasted into a spreadsheet, but totally messed up numbers (e.g. 2555°C instead of 25.55°C), also formating off (as number, scientific, etc.). What's going on? Clearly a "translation" issue of some kind. Workaround 1: Copied & pasted into Notepad as an intermediary, replaced all "," with "." and then it worked fine. Workaround 2: Changed decimal separator in Excel (Office was installed in a different language than overall system), and then it worked fine directly from Ventsim. Workaround 3? Ventsim - where/how can I change the decimal separator? I've noticed that the projects I'm working on display a comma as a separator - however, the separator for the demo files for example is a dot.
