VentSim™ CONNECT also allows you to remotely adjust the speed or opening of fans or automated regulators. As long as you are connected to the network all connections will be established when loading your model, allowing you to view real time data while working in VentSim™ DESIGN. We support 2 protocols to connect: Modbus Tcp Ip and Ethernet Ip. To set it up, you will need to enter the Ip address of the device and the different tag to be read by VentSim™ CONNECT. Data is not stored permanently but will be recorded for up to 24 hours while VentSim™ is running. Another option is to use VentSim™ CONTROL. VentSim™ CONTROL is stand alone software specially made to control and optimise the underground ventilation system. VentSim™ CONTROL can read and write to underground equipment as well as scheduling, long-term trending and alarming. Advanced features include automatic control based on flow or gas readings or personnel and equipment tracking.
